
Epione Therapy Training works in a training collaboration that develops and provides training that takes trainees seamlessly through all stages of training. You can enter training at step one or alternatively at a more advanced step if you have taken comparable training elsewhere.

Introductory counselling training
The level you need to start at unless you have previously done counselling training, is the Integrated Counselling Skills for Practitioners. This course combines the Level 2 Introduction to Counselling and the Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills courses written in-line with the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
It is a 1 year course (excluding school holidays), starting annually in September, from two locations:
Deal - Thursdays 10am until 2pm
Hythe - Saturdays 9am until 1pm.

Qualified Counsellor training
This is the course you need to complete in order to become recognised as a qualified counsellor, registered in the UK with a professional body that holds a Professional Standards Authority register. The Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling is a level 5 course, fully accredited by the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). This programme aligns with the Scope of Practice and Education (SCoPEd) framework’s column A.
It is a 2 year course (excluding school holidays), starting annually in September, from two locations:
Deal - Mondays 10am - 5.30pm
Hythe - Saturdays 10am - 5.30pm

Advanced Counselling Training
Diploma in Advanced Counselling
This training supports the acquisition of knowledge, skills and training hours required for qualified counsellors wishing to apply to their professional body for recognition as an advanced counsellor, registered under SCoPED column B. The Diploma in Advanced Counselling is a level 6 course, with a core modality of Transactional Analysis philosophy, skills and theory. ??? Diploma in Supervision
This training encourages a compassionate approach underpinned by an integrative methodology to develop Supervisors who act with integrity, whilst avoiding top-down models of power within the supervisory relationship. In addition to developing a robust supervisory framework, participants are encouraged to integrate their own theoretical lens, experience and professional insight throughout the training, promoting ownership and the synthesis of existing knowledge and skills.
